Police in Wick are investigating damage caused to a silver vehicle parked in Market Square, Wick.  This is believed to have occurred between 10.30pm and 11.30pm on Friday 29th Janurary 2016.

Summary: Police in Wick are investigating damage caused to a vehicle parked on Market Street, Wick about 9am on Wednesday 27th January 2016.   Police are keen to speak with the driver of Land Rover Discovery who was seen in the area at the time.

Flower Display Damaged - High Street, Wick
A report has been received by police of persons having disturbed numerous flower planters in High Street, Wick.  The contents of the planters appear to have been tipped over and spilt over the street.

Vandalism - Holborn Avenue, Thurso
Police in Thurso are appealing for information following a window being smashed on Holborn Avenue, Thurso.   The damage took place between Saturday 16th January 2016 and Monday 18th January 2016.

Wick man urges people to join the BOWEL MOVEMENT
A Wick man, whose bowel cancer was caught early after completing his home bowel screening test, is backing a campaign to encourage people to join the ‘bowel movement.   Hamish Macleod, who was diagnosed in January 2015, had no signs of bowel cancer so is urging others to take the test, even if they feel well, as it can often spot hidden symptoms.

More Money Come From Scottish Government After Successful Participation Event
The new Chair of the Caithness Committee, Councillor Gillian Coghill has thanked everyone who took part in the recent participatory budget event held in Wick and says she would like to see other areas of the Highlands use this dynamic way to involve members of the public in decision-making.   Last year Caithness councillors set aside £30,000 from their ward discretionary to create a participatory budgeting event.
