Early learning and childcare
Almost 50,000 children are already benefiting from an expansion of funded early learning and childcare. From August 2020, the amount of funded learning and care for three and four-year-olds, and eligible two-year-olds, is being nearly doubled from 600 hours a year to 1,140 hours.18/12/2019

Climate Action Funding Proposal
Thurso Community Development Trust working in partnership with Lairg Learning Centre are intending to submit an initial project proposal to the new TNL Climate Action Fund to develop a project across Caithness and Sutherland which aims to change behaviours in our community in order to take action against Climate Change. We will be looking at various options including encouraging Zero Waste, Local Food Growing and Food Waste Minimisation to change behaviours in the face of the Climate Emergency.2/12/2019
