SSE Renewables Backs Highland Projects With £1.5m In Response To Climate Emergency
SSE Renewables has awarded more than £1.5 million to 20 ‘transformational' projects across the Highlands. It comes in a bid to help communities respond to the climate emergency, with the projects ranging from decarbonising heat in community facilities in Golspie to the creation of active travel routes in Skye.[History]

Community groups across the Highlands are coming together as part of a new climate movement to help reduce waste and tackle a throwaway culture. Community Group Takes Ownership Of Dunnet Forest
A local trust in Caithness will be taking forward ambitious ideas for Dunnet Forest, after becoming owners of the popular woodland on 25 February.
