Event Cancellation - The History Of Wick Players
"Wick Players are sorry to announce that due to the restrictions suggested by the government, the talk on the history of the club which was to take place on Thursday 19th March has been CANCELED.  Cancelling is something we would have liked to have avoided, however, due to the ongoing issue of COVID-19 we have taken many point into consideration and have taken on the advice suggested.

Those most at risk strongly advised to reduce unnecessary contact.   To slow the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) the general public are being asked to stay at home as much as possible and avoid unnecessary social contact.

Charity welcomes TV licence fee delay for over-75s, but says it does not go far enough
Age Scotland has welcomed the BBC's decision to continue to allow free TV licences for all over-75s, but said eight weeks is not long enough.   The BBC announced today (Monday 16th March) it would delay TV licence fee changes for the over-75s until August 1 in light of the coronavirus situation.

Caithness Science Festival - Some Cancellations Due To Coronavirus Advice
Caithness International Science Festival - Family Fun Day Cancelled, Saturday 21 st March 2020 Science O3 are disappointed to announce that due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and considering current advice from The Scottish Government, the committee have taken the decision to cancel the Caithness International Science.   Tonight's Caithness Astronomy Group event will be modified, as the presenter can no longer attend.
