The Tannach and District Charitiable Wind Farm Trust, formed in partnership between Tannach and District Community Council and Foundation Scotland, has been set up to allow funds from different companies or donors, pledged for the benefit of the Tannach and District community, to be managed in an efficient and effective way. The current Donors are:

Gresham House Asset Management, owner of the Wathegar Wind Farm, current Fund balance £36,400.

Gresham House Asset Management, owner of Wathegar 2 Wind Farm, current Fund balance £60,700.

Other Donors may contribute in the future.

The Trust is managed by Foundation Scotland but decisions on awards are made by a local Panel of up to 12 Tannach and District residents, including two Community Councillors, with local knowledge and interests. Panel Members serve for between two and four years.

The E.ON Camster Community Fund also covers this community council area and is administered by Foundation Scotland.
