John O'groats Mill Trust Receives £1.5million From An Investment In Scotland's Neighbourhoods By Scottish Government

Regeneration projects in disadvantaged and rural communities across Scotland will receive a share of almost £27 million funding. The investment will support schemes tackling child poverty and addressing issues like addiction and suicide prevention, while creating jobs and growing local economies.

SSE Renewables Backs Highland Projects With £1.5m In Response To Climate Emergency

SSE Renewables has awarded more than £1.5 million to 20 ‘transformational' projects across the Highlands. The John O'Groats Mill Trust has won a £1,000 Movement for Good award thanks to nominations from the public. John O'Groats Mill Trust Receives £348,064

OVER £500,000 FOR FOUR COMMUNITY OWNERSHIP PROJECTS. A sports hall in Easterhouse, a disused mill in John O'Groats, an area of amenity land in Strathpeffer and a stretch of foreshore on the Isle of Skye will soon be in the hands of local people as four community groups receive financial support from the Scottish Land Fund. Announcement of the grants was made by Minister, Cabinet Secretary for Land Reform, Roseanna Cunningham.
