Laurandy Centre
The Laurandy Centre is for use of older people in our community of Wick and surrounding areas who require support during the day. You must have care needs to access this service.
The centre is registered with the Care Inspectorate and accommodates up to 20 persons daily.
The building is an original war time building at the airport in Wick. It is on one level with good access. Inside there are two lounges,dining room several toilets and two wet room areas. We also have a nice kitchen from where we serve teas and lunch.
A choice of lunch menu is available.
A choice of activities.
Care support from trained social care staff including personal care such as shower support.
Advice and support with any concern.
Transport to pick you up and return you home with escort assistance.
There is a daily charge to cover food costs and a weekly care charge.

On Saturday 13th April 2019 the members of Francis Street Bowlers made three generous donation to three local groups. From 1st May 2017 Alzheimers Scotland will no longer offer their services in Caithness for people suffering from dementia.
