Caithness Community Groups See Investment Of Over £150k In Latest Funding Round
Seven community projects are to benefit from over £150k of funding following the Caithness & North Sutherland Fund's latest grant awards. CNSFund Chairperson David Glass said "Our latest grant investments will enable community groups to deliver a wide range of improvements to benefit people living in Caithness & North Sutherland.

Should Caithness Horizons Scale Back To Be Run By Volunteers Like Other Groups
With the announcement of the closure of Caithness Horizons is it time to reflection whether there is longer life in volunteers running these places. The fact that grants have been a big part of the running has always put it at risk if as now grant funding is being seriously cut back as part of government austerity measures.

Watten Fun Day - Sunday 18 September 2016
Fun day for all - BBQ, Fresh pancakes being made with a variety of toppings. Mr Fox Treasure Hunt, Come and see the animals, Bounce and Slide Bouncy Castle, Bottle Stall, Face Painting, Chocolate Fountain, Watten Primary School Art Competition, Raffle.

The 2016 Bower Gala was held on Saturday 20th August. The weather had been very heavy rain in the night before but happily it cleared up by the afternoon.

There was plenty of fun, flowers and ferrets at the Watten Fund day on Sunday 24th August 2014. Tea and cakes or burgers and sausages depending on how hungry you were.

Berriedale Fun Run/Walk
Participants in a 10k-5k funrun/walk along the Welbeck Estate road at Berriedale on Sunday were rewarded with a lovely sunny day. Funds raised went to the Red Cross, Macmillan Cancer Support and the refurbishment of the local hall.
