The problems of scams on Facebook was highlighted today on the BBC Radio 4 consumer programme You and Yours. They referred to the new warning put out by the Silver Surfers web site.

The warning was highlighting the dangers following scams aimed at elderly people but the reality is it applies to everyone no matter what age.

Facebook is a great way to stay connected with family, friends, and community. However, it's important to take some steps to protect your privacy and stay safe while using the platform.
