First ‘Here for Caithness' event proves to be a success

The first ‘Here for Caithness' event held in Wick last month has proved to be a success with a number of local services in attendance highlighting how they can support the local community.
A number of these events are planned for the area with the next one taking place on the 29 June, 10:00 - 14:00, at the North Coast Visitors Centre in Thurso.

Lesley Martin, Community Service Improvement Practitioner with NHS Highland, said: "The first event went very well and provided an opportunity for members of the public to hear more about the range of community services available and how they can help them.

“We had a range of services there and a good turnout from the local community. Our next event is in Thurso and we hope that those who can attend will."
