Funding Opportunity Reminder From Caithness Voluntary Group

26th January 2021

Beatrice Partnership Fund has reopened for the final time. The fund supports projects that are based in the East Coast of Caithness and Sutherland plus the following Community Council areas in Rosshire, Edderton, Tain, Inver and Tarbat.

The fund is for projects which create or enhance opportunities for education and employment through activities focused on improving an individual's chances of entering the workplace or further professional development. Empower fragile communities to become more resilient and to protect their vulnerable residents through measures which demonstrate long term social, environmental or economic improvements, Stimulate meaningful regeneration through actions which improve or enhance local infrastructure, landscape, biodiversity, or heritage to make a lasting difference to the places we live, work and visit

The closing date for the fund is Wednesday 28th April 2021 at 12 noon. You can apply for funding from £10,000 - £50,000

Some exciting news that CVG are moving premises.   After nearly 20 years at Telford house we will, from the start of April, be renting space at the Pulteney Centre in Wick.

Caithness Voluntary Group Success With Loneliness Funding Award
Caithness Voluntary Group is one of 53 projects awarded a share of £3.2 million fund set up to tackle loneliness by Scottish Government.   Activities delivered by the organisations include community choirs, walking football, Men's Sheds and volunteering opportunities.

Robertson Trust is now open for applications.  The funds available are: Wee Grants For constituted community groups and charities with an annual income of less than £25,000  Funding of up to £2,000 for one year only  Could cover revenue* or capital costs to support your work.
