Caithness Family History Society's first talk of 2019
6th January 2019
Caithness Family History Society's first talk of the New Year will be in a new venue; Thurso Library.
The speaker will be Caitlin Morrison, a history teacher at Wick High School.
She, along with other staff and pupils, researched all the First World War men who are named on Wick War Memorial.
A wonderful book entitled They Never Returned is the result of their efforts. It includes photographs of many of those mentioned, along with details of their family and military lives.
The meeting will take place in Thurso Library, Davidson's Lane, Thurso at 7pm on Wednesday 9th January and all are welcome to attend.
