27th December 2018
Thursday 29th November at 7:30pm: A talk by Roy Mackenzie on the Veteran's Tower, in the Smith Room at the Pulteney Centre, Huddart Street, Wick
Tuesday 22nd January 2019 at 7:30pm in the Pentland Hotel, Thurso: A talk by Lydia Fensome on bygone bikes, illustrated by some in her own collection.
Saturday 9th February 2019: A walk, led by Joy and Tony, around Achvarasdal, to see the broch. Then to Loch Abuilligan to view the un-dug Tulloch/broch. There should be an opportunity to see migrant wildfowl on the loch and other birds in the wood. Meet at Wick station at 1000 or Thurso at 1030, then to Achvarasdal Park by the roadside.
Tuesday 12th February 2019 at 7:30pm in the Pentland Hotel, Thurso: A talk by David Glass on drove roads, including those he has explored.
Saturday 16th March 2019: A walk around Achscrabster, meeting up with our local member Bill Brown, who has found historic relics. Meet at Wick station at 1000 or Thurso at 1030, then to Achscrabster
Tuesday 26 March 2019 at 7-30pm in the Pentland Hotel, Thurso: An archaeological tour through Kildonan: place names, sites and histories, presented by Jacquie Aitken, Heritage Officer, Timespan.
Wednesday 17th April 2019: A walk along the north coast of Wick with Eleanor, continuing her trail north of the soldiers' monument. Meet at Thurso station at 12:30, Wick at 13:00, and then be guided to a park for the start and finish of the walk.
Tuesday 30th April 2019 at 7-30pm: AGM at Castletown Hotel.
Tuesday 7-10th May 2019: Weekend at Strathpeffer staying in the Ben Wyvis Hotel.
