Caithness Horizons go Christmas Crazy
13th November 2018
Featuring over 30 local crafters over two days, the Christmas Mega Market at Caithness Horizons is sure to get you in the festive spirit and will include gifts and present ideas from jewellery and candles, to gin, chocolate and cheese!.
This market gives visitors the opportunity to purchase high quality, handmade pieces at a range of prices to suit any budget from local artists and crafters including Ice and Fire Distillery, Donaldson's Designs, Tartan at Heart and many other wonderful local arts and crafts.
As part of the event, we will be joined by Thurso High School Choir on Friday and members of the fantastic Melvich Gaelic Choir alongside Best Christmas Jumper and Hat competitions!
Eleanor Hargrave, Marketing Officer and Market Co-Ordinator, says: "Our Annual Christmas Market is always popular, so this year we have made a real effort to make this year's market even bigger and even better than the year before. There will be lots of one of a kind craft pieces available to purchase. We really hope everyone will come along and help us celebrate the most wonderful time of the year!"
This free event runs between 10am-4pm on Friday 16th November 2018 and between 10am-3pm on Saturday 17th November 2018 around the Caithness Horizons building.
Entry to the museum is free for the entire weekend. For further details please visit the Caithness Horizons website: caithnesshorizonsmuseum.com or call 01847 896508
