Draught Busting Caithness and Sutherland

Free draught proofing and energy advice service is available to anyone in the Caithness & Sutherland area postcodes KW1 to KW14 whom is primarily:
- In receipt of unemployment benefits/ESA/PIP
- Retired/Pensioner
- A Carer
- Has a support worker
- On a low income/Part time worker(under 16 hours)
- In fuel poverty(struggling to pay energy bills)
- Living with a disability/health concerns
Or secondly the service is also available to the general public for free energy saving advice.
A fully qualified, Disclosure Scotland Energy Adviser will undertake an assessment of the needs/issues in your property, in regards to reducing bills, reduce drafts on doors/windows, increase disposable income, explain/set up heating controls and advise on help & funding/grants available to reducing carbon emissions(energy losses).
This is for private home owners, Highland council tenants, Housing associations tenants or people with a private landlord.
Funded by Climate Challenge Fund part of Keep Scotland Beautiful from Greener Scotland.
You will receive free energy saving measures that may be required as part of the Energy visit:-
I will fit: free hot water tank jacket/lagging, free draught excluders for doors and windows, free external and internal door and window seals, free LED bulbs, free radiator reflector panelling.
