Free draught proofing and energy advice service is available to anyone in Caithness & Sutherland area whom is:
In receipt of unemployment benefits/ESA/PIP
Retired/Pensioner
A Carer
Has a support worker
On a low income/Part time worker(under 16 hours)
In fuel poverty(struggling to pay energy bills)
Living with a disability/health concerns
A fully qualified, disclosed Energy Adviser will undertake an assessment of the needs/issues in your property, in regards to reducing bills, reduce drafts on doors/windows, increase disposable income, explain/set up heating controls - systems and advise on help/funding/grants available to reducing carbon emissions(energy losses)
This is for private home owners, Highland council tenants, Housing associations or people with a private landlord
You will receive free energy saving measures that may be required as part of the Energy visit.
Fitted - free hot water tank jacket/lagging, free draught excluders for door/windows, free external/internal door/window seals, free LED bulbs, free radiator reflector panelling.
