Children In Need Funding Advice Event

Children In Need is holding a funding information event in Wick at the Pulteney Centre, Tuesday 22nd August, 2-3pm. They fund projects for, children and young people of 18yesrs and under experiencing disadvantage through
illness, distress, abuse or neglect
any kind of disabillity
behavioural or phsychological difficulties
living in poverty or situations of deprivation
There is also a new fund just launched BBC Children in Need and the Wellcome Trust are seeking applications for projects that engage children and young people affected by disadvantage in science based activities. It is not about formal education. Projects should encourage young people to be curious about the world around them and inside them, making a positive difference in their lives: building confidence and self-esteem, developing life skills and expanding horizons.
