Walk to help prevent heart disease
10th June 2016
The British Heart Foundation is currently funding over £100 million of research into fighting heart and circulatory disease, which takes the lives of over 15,700 people in Scotland each year.
Research has shown that being physically inactive can increase your risk of heart disease and so we're calling on everyone in Scotland to put their best foot forward and sign up to Just Walk.
Just Walk invites family, friends and colleagues to organise a walk in a location, time and distance of their choice. It's a fantastic way of getting more active whilst raising money in the fight against heart disease.
Every stride taken and every pound raised will help fund even more vital research to support the 7 million people living with heart and circulatory disease in the UK.
Sign up to Just Walk today and get a free kit full of everything you need to show heart disease where to go by visiting www.bhf.org.uk/JustWalk
