Willow Bees 1 - Wednesday 6th April. 6pm - 8pm.
Willow Bees 2 - Wednesday 13th April. 6pm – 8pm.
Kids, come along to the Seadrift Visitor Centre and have fun creating some willow structure bumblebee models and have the honour of seeing them take pride of place in the centre's display for the coming season. Completed in two sessions!
Kids £3.50 accompanying adults FREE. Booking essential.

Dunnet Beach Clean
Saturday 16th April. 11am – 2pm.
Please give some time and help other volunteers to clean Dunnet Beach ready for the coming season. Gloves, bags and a free hot drink provided. Stay as long as you are able and wrap up warm. Meet at Dunnet Beach car park from 11am. FREE event.

Navigation for Numpties! Latheron.
Monday 18th April. 10.30am – 1pm.
Learn basic navigation & map reading skills by joining us on a hill walk around some of the interesting archaeological remains in the Latheron area. Walking boots and outdoor gear required for some rough ground conditions. Bring a compass if you have one. Meeting place given out on booking.
Adults £4.50, conc £3.50 family £15.00.

Kite Making at Seadrift
Wednesday 27th April. 6pm – 8pm.
Assemble and fly your very own kite made from everyday household items. All materials provided but limited numbers so booking essential. Kite flying will take place if weather conditions are suitable. All children must be accompanied.

Events set out reasons to support UNESCO World Heritage Site Status for The Flow Country.   TV historian and archaeologist Neil Oliver and geology's ‘rock star' Professor Iain Stewart will be joined by UNESCO expert Professor Barry Gilbertson in a series of talks in the Highlands this summer that answer the question Why make The Flow Country a World Heritage Site? The ‘Full Flow' events, which will take place in Lairg, Thurso and Inverness on 5, 6, and 7 July respectively, invite audiences to hear about the environmental and cultural importance of The Flow Country in Sutherland and Caithness, addressing Scotland's climate emergency, the need to protect the spectacular beauty and wildlife of the area’s unique habitat and the part it plays in the lives of people who live here.
