A free talk organised by Caithness Astronomy Group.

Chemistry staff from Aberdeen and Newcastle Universities are squeezing in an exciting public lecture whilst they are in Caithness to deliver Royal Society of Chemistry funded spectroscopy workshops for older pupils at the local high schools. The equipment being used at the schools workshops will be available for viewing at the public event also - something for budding CSIs to check out.

Dr Lee Reilly from the University of Aberdeen and Dr Peter Hoare from Newcastle University will jointly present a free public lecture showing the exciting side of chemistry.........
