Joseph Anderson Photo Contest Rules

Joseph Anderson 2015 Photo Contest ends Friday July 31st, 2015, at 5:00 PM By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest.

Who may enter:
There are 3 age categories
Under 12 years of age on 31st July 2015
13 - 17 years of age on 31st July
18 years and over on 31st July.

There is no entry fee in any category. All photographic copyright remains with the entrant, but we would like to use a small selection to publicise our event with owner's permission. Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit.
There will be a display of all images in Thrumster Railway Station from 15th-29th August and prizes will be awarded at the Joseph Anderson Archaeology Festival on 30th August 2015 to be held at Yarrows.

Judging of the contest will be conducted by Dr. Kenny Brophy of Glasgow University, Dr Meli Pannett Cardiff University, (archaeologists working on the festival), a representative of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, and the trustees of the Yarrows Heritage Trust.

What to enter:
Images of monuments which may range from Neolithic burial cairns, brochs, castles, vernacular and historic buildings, crofts WWII camps, in the County of Caithness.

Entry deadline 31st July 2015 at 5: 00 p.m.

Contestants may submit up to 5 photographs. These may be in black and white or colour, and each should bear a title identifying the subject and location. Submit photographs on CD along with an ENTRY FORM
