Funding for Young People and Youth Workers

Young people and youth organisations in the UK can receive funding for projects that promote youth exchanges, volunteering and the training and networking of youth workers. The funding is being made available through the European Commission's Erasmus+ programme.

funding is available to UK public bodies, NGOs (not for profit organisations and registered charities), unincorporated youth groups, and informal groups of young people (one member of the group must be aged 18-30). Private limited companies can also apply for funding but there are some restrictions in place.

The funding can be used to cover travel and organisational costs as well as special and linguistic needs, etc.

The deadline for applications is 11am on the 1st October 2014.
