Police Scotland wish to make the public aware of bogus callers
3rd April 2014
Police in Inverness wish to make the public aware of their concerns regarding bogus callers wishing to obtain particular details of bank and credit cards.
It appears these persons are targeting takeaway restaurants in an effort to obtain customer card details.
Police Scotland would like to emphasise that no person should provide card details to cold callers.
All persons with any information are urged to contact the police on 101 or crime stoppers on 0800 555 111
