More dates for your diary at Castlehill
23rd March 2014
Just to let you know what is going on in the near future at the Castlehill Centre, Castletown.
We have our final talk in the present series on Tuesday 15th April at 7:30pm in the Castlehill Centre. The talk is titled "Caithness History and How to exploit it" and will be given by Professor Donna Heddle. It should be a very good final talk of the series.
Also, on Wednesday 23rd April at 7:30pm in the Castlehill Centre, we will be having our Annual General Meeting. The guest speaker will be Catherine Paterson who will be speaking about "Family History Research".
We are hoping to have a good turnout and that some of you would feel like joining an enthusiastic and forward looking committee who is always needing new ideas. New members to the Committee are most welcome. If however committees are not for you but you would like to offer help, we would love to have you.
Jumping to May 3rd, we are being joined by the Inshore Rowing Group from Wick. They are bringing along their rowing skiff and launching it at Castlehill Harbour to give a demonstration and also to offer people a chance to have a go at the rowing. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Watch this space for more information.
