Map of the Parishes of Caithness in 1841
Note: Keiss was part of Wick Parish in 1841, but was a separate parish in 1901. The other parishes have remained the same.
The Caithness Family History Societys 1901 Caithness Census transcriptions record details of everyone living in each house on the night of 31st March 1901. We can supply census information for the parishes of Dunnet, Canisbay, Halkirk and Wick.
The 1841 Caithness Census transcriptions record the details of everyone living in each house on the night of 7th June 1841. Only have the books for Wick Burgh, Latheron Parish and Reay Parish still remain for sale.
CFHS has also made transcriptions of the inscriptions on the gravestones in three cemeteries - those of the older sections of Keiss, Watten and Olrig Cemeteries.
