Mey Highland Games had it all - sun, rain, wind in equal parts. The stormy blast lasted only a few minutes from time to time.

Prince Charles/Duke of Rothesay chieftan for the games and his guests joined the locals and visotrs to enjoy the afternon depsite the blustery weather. One little girl presented him with bouquet of flowers while another dancer in her sailor suit ready for the competition presented small teddly bear to the Duke of Rothesay for his new grandson.

Highland dancers, Kuk Sool Won demonstration amongst the various light hearted races for all comers were competed to the background of the serious heavy events of throwing the hammer. Sooin the afternoon was over and the Wick Pipe Band played once again to the departing spectators and the Dukle of Rothesay.
