WOLFSON FOUNDATION - SCHOOLS SPECIAL NEEDS GRANTS PROGRAMME
The Wolfson Foundation has announced that its Special Needs Grants programme is open for applications. Through its Special Needs Programme Mainstream Secondary Schools and 6th Form Colleges can apply to the Foundation for funding for capital or equipment projects relating to the teaching of science and technology, languages, music, the arts or libraries.
Projects should focus on students taking A-Level or GCSE examinations. In 2008, for example, Trustees awarded �40,000 to Jordanhill school in Glasgow towards the creation of new science laboratories.
There is a two stage application process and the next deadline for submitting stage 1 applications is the 15th April 2013. If eligible, applicants will be invited to apply for the Stage Two deadline of 15th June 2013
