Childrens Home
50 Northcote Street is a purpose built building situated on the South side of Wick. The centre serves the far north of the highlands offering short term residential care to young people of either sex aged between 12 - 16 years, whose main carers live in Caithness and Sutherland. There is a maximum of 5 beds available.
The centre also offers an outreach programme which is currently being developed more fully due to the appointment of a full-time outreach officer. This work is mainly preventative, working with children and families in their own homes.
