Police recover Class A drugs worth £100,000 in the Inverness area

A 36 year-old man is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court next week, in connection with drug offences.

The man was arrested in the Inverness city centre area on Thursday 06 July 2014, and found to be in possession of Class A drugs with an estimated street value of £100,000.

Detective Inspector Gordon Fowler said: "Police Scotland are committed to targeting those who are involved in this type of crime and this recent recovery highlights the further evidence that police will not tolerate those who are involved in the supply of controlled drugs, using all available resources within our disposal.
