Dunnet Head to Dwarick Pier
Wednesday, June 4th, 5pm - 9pm
Join the local Countryside Ranger on an evening guided walk along the western coastal edge of Dunnet Head to the pier at Dwarick. Fantastic views, lovely plants and birds galore on route passing Chapel Geo and the glorious Peedie Sands beach. Walking gear and a bite to eat is required. Meet at the Dunnet Head car park. Invernaver Walk
Wednesday 11th June, 11am - 3pm
Enjoy this lovely walk to see wonderful wildflowers and one of the best beaches in north Sutherland. Have a bite to eat sitting in the remains of a Broch with stunning views over the River Naver and beyond. Some steep climbs and descents during this walk. Suitable walking gear and a packed lunch is needed. Meet at the River Naver bridge car park near Bettyhill. Grid ref: NC 710603

Puffin to Sandside
Friday, 13th June, 6pm-9pm
Take an early evening walk with the Countryside Ranger to view the puffins at the largest puffin breeding colony in the area then enjoy a great walk along the coastal edge to Sandside Bay at Reay. There are some stunning views, wonderful wildlife and beautiful wildflowers along this hidden part of the north coast. Suitable walking gear required. A vehicle needed to help return drivers to start, please phone if you can help. Meet at the Sutherland and Caithness boundary sign on the A836 north road.

Puffin Watch
Wednesday 25th and Friday 27th June, 6pm - 8pm
Join the local Countryside Ranger and walk out to see the largest puffin colony in the area. Hopefully witnessing hundreds of puffins and learn about their life cycle and habits. Telescope provided but bring your own binoculars and camera. Some rough walking (1km), boots required. Limited parking. Meet at the Sutherland and Caithness boundary sign on the A836 north road.
