Funding to Develop Socially Based Digital Technology

The Funding which is being provided through the Nominet Trust’s Social Tech Seed Investment Programme is looking for applications that demonstrate the potential of technology to tackle some of the big social issues in sectors including education, employability, healthcare and the environment. The Funding will be awarded for a maximum period of 12 months.

Previous projects supported include:
REyooz a community-driven, social gifting platform to encourage re-use of items otherwise destined for landfill and
Playlab London a game, controlled by breathing, designed to ameliorate the effect of panic attacks, providing practical support to those who experience anxiety related conditions.

The deadline for Stage 1 application submissions is 12:00 noon on the 2nd April 2014.
