Good Governance Training will be delivered on
Tuesday 3rd September, Pulteney Centre
7pm-8.30pm.

Ever wondered why you have members and why they are there.
How your committee works
How your group is made up
Understand your legal documents, constitution, trust deeds, articles & memorandum, leases contracts, OSCR
Roles and responsibilities of director/committee members

The training will allow time for questions as there may be other areas that you would like to be covered. This training is suitable for staff and committee members.

Caithness Voluntary Group Success With Loneliness Funding Award
Caithness Voluntary Group is one of 53 projects awarded a share of £3.2 million fund set up to tackle loneliness by Scottish Government.   Activities delivered by the organisations include community choirs, walking football, Men's Sheds and volunteering opportunities.

Funding Opportunity Reminder From Caithness Voluntary Group
Beatrice Partnership Fund has reopened for the final time.  The fund supports projects that are based in the East Coast of Caithness and Sutherland plus the following Community Council areas in Rosshire, Edderton, Tain, Inver and Tarbat.

Robertson Trust is now open for applications.  The funds available are: Wee Grants For constituted community groups and charities with an annual income of less than £25,000  Funding of up to £2,000 for one year only  Could cover revenue* or capital costs to support your work.

Thanks to Yvonne at Caithness Voluntary Group for putting together a few funding suggestions that may be of interest to local groups.   Comic Relief Changemakers Fund The themes for this Fund are, Children Survive & Thrive, Gender Justice, Safe Place to Be - Homelessness, Safe Place to Be - Migration, Global Mental Health.
