Women Against State Pension Inequality (WASPI) - Meetings In Caithness

4th August 2016

Women Against State Pension Inequality (WASPI) is a national campaign group that fights the injustice done to women born in the 1950s (on or after 6 April 1951) regarding the changes to their state pension age

A recently formed Caithness WASPI group has been set up by Aileen Shanks (Thurso) and Lorna Simpson (Wick). They are holding meetings in Wick and Thurso to raise awareness of the issue and would like to encourage women born in the 1950s to come along and hear what has been happening with the national WASPI campaign.

The first meeting is on Tuesday 16th August 2016 at 6.30 pm in the Pentland Hotel, Thurso whilst the Wick meeting will be held on Wednesday 17th August 2016 at 6.30 pm in the Norseman Hotel, Wick.

If anybody would like more information please contact waspi.caithness@gmail.com or join the Caithness WASPI FB group.
