Community Transport Grants applications invited

Applications are now being invited for community transport grants to be awarded by The Highland Council. The deadline for submitting an application is Friday 18 December 2015.

Applications are being invited for projects which will help to provide flexible and practical community transport solutions in their communities.

Grants will be available on a 3-year basis, covering 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2019. Existing grant recipients will need to apply and submissions from new applicants are welcome.

Chair of the Community Services Committee, Cllr Allan Henderson said: "Effective local transport solutions are vital to the wellbeing and lifeblood of communities and I would encourage applications for the community transport grants. You have until 18 December to submit an application."
