Raw TV Storm Project

8th January 2015

TV company Raw are currently making a documentary for Channel 4 about extreme winter weather and they need your help.

They want to get a complete picture of the way that storms, snow, ice, rain, high winds and big waves can affect life for ordinary Britons - and so are asking members of the public to document the way in which bad winter weather affects their daily lives.

They are looking for members of the public to film some footage during the severe weather that's heading our way. Film yourselves/your surroundings as you battle the weather and adapt your behaviour and job in response to the conditions. The filming doesn’t have to be professional and can be done on an iPhone/Go Pro etc. The key is for the person to say who they are, what they do, how they battle/adapt to the weather and their thoughts about it in general (and about bad British weather). This could be done whilst you go about your job/life as usual, battling bad weather.

Shoot everything horizontal!

Once you’ve made a video send it via ‘we transfer’ to cass.horowitz[AT]raw.co.uk

Do not put yourself in danger or do anything you wouldn’t normally do. If the weather is so bad that you wouldn’t normally leave the house, please don’t do so. Please don’t film while driving, or do anything that might otherwise endanger your health and safety, or the health and safety of others.

It is illegal to use a mobile phone whilst driving.

Raw cannot be held responsible for any accident or injury that may occur during filming or any damage to your property or that of any third party.
