"Golspie, Brora, the northern aurora, Helmsdale, Berriedale, Dunbeath and Lybster..." Andy Munro (aka Mr Boom, the one-man band from the Moon) points his spaceship northwards in the direction of Wick, on a mission to Orkney - his annual visit to the Orkney International Science Festival. The Festival, one of the longest-running of its type, has for the past 21 years been bringing together speakers and audiences from many places to discuss ideas at the frontiers of science, visit the islands' historic sites, and sing with Mr Boom at the Saturday evening ceilidh.

This is a track from his new CD, 'Come to the Festival', produced specially for the occasion, with guests joining in. More details of the CD and of the Festival can be found on the OISF website and on Mr Boom's own lunar one. A further track, James Clerk Maxwell, can also be found on YouTube.
