Joint Ward Forum open To The Public - Monday 9th September

The main topic for the joint ward forum will be presentations regarding the newly formed police and fire services for Scotland. Consultations are ongoing through September and October. Following the presentations the normal ward forum business will be conducted.

Both Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are keen to consult with the communities across Highland to identify the local policing and fire & rescue priorities for the next round of local police and fire plans. The joint police and fire & rescue plan consultations, at all Ward Forums across Highland, between September and October will provide an opportunity for elected councillors and communities to influence the future policing and fire & rescue priorities for their local area over the next few years.
