Dwarwick Head Walk
Wednesday 17th July 2013, 6pm – 9pm.
Enjoy a guided walk with the local Ranger out over Dwarwick Head at Dunnet Bay passing the beautiful Peedie Sands and on to Chapel Geo. Hopefully we may see a whale or dolphin or two and lots of plants and birds on route.
Some rough walking involved and suitable walking gear and packed lunch required.

Wild Tracks - Achvarasdal Woods
Thursday 18th July 2013, 11am – 1pm
Fancy yourself as a wildlife tracker? Come along to Achvarasdal Woods near Reay and have some fun looking for and following all manner of tracks laid out in the woodland. Can you find the subtle clues to track which way the animals went?
All children must be accompanied. Booking recommended. Price - family £5.

Puffin Watch
Saturday 20th July 2013, 11am – 1pm
Join the ranger and use our telescope to watch the puffins at the largest puffin colony in the area. Learn about the life cycle and habits of these ‘clowns of the ocean’. Bring your binoculars and wrap up warm.
Some rough/wet ground so suitable footwear required. Prices - £3 adults, £2 concessions
Meet at the Sutherland/Caithness boundary sign on the A836 north coast road between Reay and Melvich. Grid ref: NC 921645

Dunnet Dunes, Beach and Forest Walk
Wednesday 31st July 2013, 6pm – 8pm.
Join the ranger for a lovely walk and discover why the dunes at Dunnet are special. We will walk along Dunnet Beach and in Dunnet Forest looking at all the wildlife associated with these fascinating and important northern habitats.
Wear stout footwear and warm clothing. Prices - £3 adults, £2 concessions.
Meet at the Seadrift Centre Car Park, Dunnet Bay at 6pm
