Heart Support Group Presents New Monitors To Caithness General Hospital
ONE of four vital signs monitors presented to Caithness General Hospital wards by Caithness Heart Support Group, recently. Receiving it, on the hospital's behalf is its rural general hospital manager, Pauline Craw, and staff members.

This article was first published in the Caithness Field Club bulletin 2011 The Little Bunting that was seen at the end of 2009 stayed at Ham throughout the winter, eventually leaving in early April after 110 days, which may well be a record for Britain. Another unusual winter visitor for Caithness was Great-Crested Grebe, with birds seen in January on Loch Watten (2), and a single bird in Thurso.29/5/2013

Commitment deserves commitment are the latest watchwords from SSAFA a charity set up to help serving memebrs or ex memebrs of the armed forces in the UK. Visit The Island Of Stroma With Caithness Horizons
Stroma Visit - Saturday 10th August 2013 Last year we organised a visit to Stroma, prompted by interest from the Islands Book Trust, and readers of their book Stroma, published in 2010. Taking the abandoned island as its subject, the book features photos by Roddie Ritchie, with poetry by Caithness writer George Gunn.

‘Beatrice Works’ Education Programme With Caithness Horizons
We’re planning an ambitious programme of events to complement this Summer’s major exhibition in our Gallery. During May and June, Sutherland based artist Sue Jane Taylor will be joined by Caithness STEM Ambassadors to work with young people from Caithness and North Sutherland schools, exploring how current developments in renewable technology are making an impact locally as well as nationally and internationally.
